Barça Ready for Historic Match at Partially Completed Camp Nou over the weekend

The club confirmed they will play at the renovated but unfinished Camp Nou on Saturday. The club will host the Bilbao team in the Spanish league 30 months since relocating so building work could begin.

“Returning home was our dream. Finally, it’s happening. We are back at Spotify Camp Nou.”

Not all seats will be available but 45,401 spectators will be allowed to watch under the licence granted. After final construction, the Camp Nou is due to hold almost 105,000 spectators, increasing from the former 99,000. Officials confirmed completed upgrades featured a renovated tunnel for players plus modern locker rooms.

Recent Activities

The club conducted an open training session at the Camp Nou in early November. They mentioned approval is being pursued from European football’s governing body for their upcoming Champions League fixture facing Eintracht in December at Camp Nou. Previous fixtures took place at Estadio Olímpic Lluís Companys.
