The House investigative committee has published a set of roughly 70 photographs from the estate of former adjudicated sexual predator Jeffrey Epstein.

This constitutes the latest in a series of disclosure from a larger collection of over 95,000 photos the committee has acquired from Epstein's estate. It includes images of passages from the book Lolita written across a female's body, and redacted images of female foreign passports.

This disclosure arrives hours before the 19th of December due date for the DOJ to release all documents connected to its inquiry into Epstein.

"These latest photographs bring up further queries about what exactly the Department of Justice has in its possession," stated the Democratic lead of the committee, Robert Garcia.

Contents in the Photos Made Public

Several of the images made public on this week depict Epstein speaking with academic and activist Noam Chomsky inside a private plane; Bill Gates standing beside a individual whose face is censored; Steve Bannon seated at a desk facing Epstein, and previous Alphabet president Sergey Brin at a dinner event.

These are the newest wealthy, influential individuals to be seen in Epstein's estate photos published by the House Oversight Committee - previously disclosed photos also show US President Donald Trump and ex-president Bill Clinton, as well as film director Woody Allen, former US Secretary of the Treasury Larry Summers, attorney Alan Dershowitz, Andrew Mountbatton-Windsor, and additional individuals.

Being pictured in the photos is is not considered indication of any misconduct, and several of the featured men have stated they were not participating in Epstein's unlawful actions.

In a announcement released with the photo disclosure, Democrats on the US House Oversight Committee stated the Epstein estate did not supply explanatory details or dates for the photographs.

"Photographs were picked to provide the American people with openness into a typical cross-section of the images received from the estate, and to provide insights into Epstein's network and his profoundly alarming actions," the statement says.

The disclosure also includes a number of images of excerpts from the Vladimir Nabokov novel Lolita written in ink across various areas of a woman's body, such as her chest, foot, hip, and back. Lolita tells the tale of a minor who was manipulated by a middle-aged literature professor.

An example of a quote from the novel scrawled across a female's torso says, "Lolita's name: the tip of the tongue making a journey of three steps down the mouth to tap, at three, on the teeth".

There are also a collection of photographs of women's passports and official papers from countries around the world, including Lithuania, Russia, the Czech Republic, and Ukraine.

Most of the information on the papers, like names and dates of birth, is obscured but the panel said in a press release that the travel documents are associated with "females whom Jeffrey Epstein and his conspirators were engaging".

An additional photo shows Epstein positioned at a workstation intimately surrounded by three women whose faces have been censored - a first has her palm on Epstein's torso under his garment, and another is crouching to examine a adjacent computer. Epstein seems to be helping the third put on a wristband.

A further photo disclosed is a screenshot of text messages from an unnamed sender who states they have been provided "some girls" and are requesting "$1000 for each individual".

Photograph Disclosure Occurs Prior to DOJ Cut-off

The committee has a vast number of images in its holdings from the Epstein property, which are "both explicit and ordinary," its press release on recently clarified.

The oversight panel first legally compelled the estate of Epstein, who was found dead in a New York jail in 2019 while facing trial on accusations of sex trafficking, in August.

The photos and files the Epstein property gave to the panel are distinct from what is largely called "the Epstein files". Those files are records in the justice department's possession related to its independent investigation into Epstein.

In accordance with the recently passed law, which the President enacted recently, the DOJ has a deadline of 19 December to publish its records. The scope of what is contained in the DOJ's documents is not publicly known, and it's expected that a significant portion of the information will be significantly obscured, comparable to Congressional documents
