Pat Bamford Joins Sheffield United After Leading Derogatory Chants About Manager Chris Wilder

Patrick Bamford is now a member of Sheffield United only half a year following starting disrespectful chants directed at their manager, Wilder.

This experienced striker, without a club after departing from Leeds United, has agreed to a agreement with the second-tier strugglers through the winter. His seven-year time with Leeds finished through agreement this past summer.

Among Bamford’s last memorable actions as a Leeds player included starting abusive chants regarding Chris Wilder amid the club’s success festivities this spring. Currently, the former England player is set to play for Wilder as Sheffield United's boss seeks to rescue the team he loves away from the bottom places.

Past Conflict Involving Bamford & Wilder

Both men had previous conflict before Leeds earned promotion back to the Premier League last season and United were defeated in the promotion decider by Sunderland. The manager described Bamford as “a muppet” when the situation was different during the 2018-19 season and the Blades secured direct promotion while Leeds United fell short in the playoffs.

Reconciliation & Looking Ahead

I am cool with the situation and I told him that to Patrick.”
