Joseph Parker weighed approximately 20 pounds more against Fabio Wardley as the two big men presented self-assured appearances - albeit in different manners - ahead of Saturday's headliner in London.

New Zealand's Joseph Parker will put his WBO interim championship and shot to challenge for the global championship at stake versus the undefeated Wardley at the premier boxing arena.

Reigning top heavyweight the champion has signalled his plan to protect his world titles facing the victor.

"It all comes down to this. It represents all," remarked a serious but focused Wardley, 30, at yesterday's pre-fight ritual.

The British contender - the holder of the interim WBA title - came in at 110 kg, consistent with his previous matches.

"This contest prior to the ultimate challenge. Every effort is completed. Camp is wrapped up. The intense training is done. Now for some rest now. Big night coming up," he stated further.

The East London market in London's east end saw beyond typical items on the measure as the two fighters squared up for the last occasion prior to fight night.

Parker flashed a wink at the lenses and bobbed along to the beat.

As he flexed his muscles, he appeared powerful and powerful as he registered at eighteen stone ten pounds, merely a handful of pounds less than his heaviest ever.

This marks a significant difference from the sixteen stone twelve pound version who was defeated his belt to Anthony Joshua in 2018.

"We're weary, we're cautious, but I'm going to respond with equal force and I'm going to get him," Parker said.

I operate on a superior tier and will dominate him - Joseph Parker

Wardley, wearing an Ipswich Town jersey, held a straight face, nodded to the crowd, but appeared zoned in.

Although he is the less heavy fighter, Fabio Wardley has superb knockout power. He delivered a thrilling comeback against Justis Huni in the summer, trailing on the scorecards before finishing his foe in the 10th round despite being outboxed for the majority of the bout.

"Parker, his corner and the sport's followers are about to discover I belong to be at the top of this division," Fabio Wardley stated.

"Each rival has been the fighter critics predict will overcome me. This is that fight. He is exceptional pace, too fast, too experienced. But I haven't been beaten yet, and nothing will shift tomorrow night."
